Steirerkraft Kernothek – the Styrian pumpkin experience

The Steirerkraft Kernothek, home of the Steirerkraft brand, enables exciting insights into the culinary world of the Styrian pumpkin and the Styrian pumpkinseed oil. The smell of freshly roasted pumpkinseeds is in the air and the oil miller tells visitors what’s important in the production of the “green gold“.

The experience tour shows how the pumpkinseed lost its skin, how oil pressing looked like in previous times and in the show garden visitors can watch the pumpkin grow. Looking, smelling, tasting – experience Styrian pumpkinseed with all senses.

The taste of Styria

The Steirerkraft Kernothek offers another speciality: at the unique pumpkinseed oil tap visitors can freshly bottle and personalize their pumpkinseed oil on their own. Individual labels for various occasions make the pumpkinseed oil bottle unique. Besides the oil, the Steirerkraft Kernothek offers a wide range of regional culinary delights produced by local partners.

The seal of quality was awarded on 16 September 2016.
