AL-KO Kober has produced exclusive garden and hobby tools for over 50 years from its base in the Styrian Zirbenland – the stone pine forest zone. Whenever a customer has a problem to which there simply does not seem to be an answer, we are always glad to step in with our service team and are proud of our record for finding solutions. The production line for lawnmowers, gardenrobots and lawn tractors is backed up by a vast array
of 256 measuring and testing devices for quality assurance. The quality system is certified according to ISO.9001:2008.
AL-KO uses hydraulic presses with up to 500 tons of pressing force, welding robots on turntables, state-ofthe-art powder coating and the latest in conveyor belt technology. Seeing all this impressive equipment at work makes every AL-KO visit a memorable experience. This is an enterprise that lives and inspires with its total enthusiasm for the world of mechanical engineering. After following all the pre-production processes, the visitors see live how the equipment is put together before going on to the completely automated packaging unit prior to delivery. Anyone who wants to know everything about how a lawn tractor works is welcome to step into the test cabin to find all the details.
